The Downtown Sykesville Connection (DSC) showcased some of the best Maryland wineries, and over 50 vineyards from the Sonoma Valley, Argentina, France and Italy. The 2019 wine sampling was as exciting and diverse the live entertainment, local artists, and street performers featured at the event. Rainy weather didn’t stop visitors from filling the downtown streets to enjoy the festival, local businesses, and Sykesville’s old-fashioned, historic, small-town charm. The 2019 Sykesville Art & Wine Festival was presented by the Carroll Community Bank – a long time DSC and community partner – with the support of two locally owned small businesses – Granite Pro LLC and Assist-2-Sell.
