The Knights teams combined to go 12-0 against Carroll County Athletic League opponents in 2024.
The CCAL high school soccer regular season is almost in the books, so let's crown the county champs and take a look at the stats leaders with just a few days remaining before postseason play begins.
BOYS SOCCER
Century is the county champion and the Knights won it by beating Liberty 1-0 at home on Oct. 15 on a goal by Steven Orsoto. Century handed the Lions their first loss of the season, as Liberty was gunning for a 4th county crown since 2019.
Instead, the Knights earned the title for the first time since 2021 and just the third time since 2013.
Century was 4-3 before CCAL play started and the Knights have reeled off 6 wins in a row. They outscored their Carroll foes by a combined 23-3, and posted 3 shutouts.
