USA Lacrosse honors for Carroll County boys players, coach

USA Lacrosse oversees the selection of the awards, which are administered locally by Area Chairs. Selections are based on voting by coaches within each geographical area.

Just as it did with girls lacrosse, USA Lacrosse recently handed out its postseason boys lacrosse. A few of Carroll's top players were recognized, along with one of its coaches.

Jesse Jason, Liberty: The Lions senior attacker led the county in scoring with 79 points and netted 55 goals, also tops in Carroll. He guided Liberty to a second consecutive Class 1A state quarterfinal appearance, and earned CMSportsNet Player of the Year honors. Jason is headed to St. Joseph's to play men's lacrosse next season.
