Local players ready to compete at All America Lacrosse Classic

Several stars set to shine in the Underclass Tournament as part of the annual event in Baltimore.

We're almost one month away from the All America Lacrosse Classic, which takes place in the Baltimore-metro area and culminates with the boys and girls Senior Games at Homewood Field at Johns Hopkins University.

Part of the 4-day extravaganza is the Underclass Tournament, which features 3 divisions in each region for each gender.

There's the Command Division, the Burn Division, and the Highlight Division. And the regions are Baltimore, Connecticut/New York, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Southwest, Upstate NY, Washington DC, and West.

The Command Division showcases players from the 2027 and 2028 high school graduation years. The Burn Division will feature 2026 players while the Highlight Division will exclusively feature 2025 players.

Each division will compete within itself at the tryouts, those players that are selected by our evaluation team will then travel to the main event to determine which region is the best in the end.

Practices take place July 25 and pool play gets underway July 26-28 in Columbia and Elkridge. The Senior Games are July 27 (girls at 5:30 p.m., boys at 8) at Homewood.

No surprise to lacrosse fans from around these parts, but Carroll County looks to be well represented at the Underclass tournament.
