All-Carroll County Athletic League basketball teams out for 2022-23

The boys and girls all-county teams were chosen and voted on by the Carroll County coaches.

The boys and girls basketball season has come to a close, and now it's time to recognize the top players from 2022-23.

The annual all-Carroll County Athletic League teams have been announced by the county coaches, who vote on their picks at the end of the winter and come up with first-team, second-team, and in the girls' case, honorable mention selections.

So let's see who the coaches chose as this year's best of the best.

 

BOYS BASKETBALL

First Team

Guards: Xavier Bowman, Manchester Valley, Tyler Downs, Liberty, Brendan Luddy, Manchester Valley, Andrew Marcinko, Century, Owen Scott, South Carroll, Michael Tombs, Liberty.

Forwards: Ben Chenoweth, Century, Jordan Fulmore, Francis Scott Key.

Second Team

Guards: Chance Byrnes, Westminster, Owen Case, Winters Mill, Dallas Johnson, Winters Mill, Jake Winkles, Century.

Forwards: Markel Brown, Manchester Valley, Camden Hodges, Liberty, Kandi Mkpasi, Winters Mill, Phil Sackett, Liberty.

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

First Team

Guards: Summer Brooks, Francis Scott Key, Maddy Gassman, Westminster, Mia Graff, Century, Shannon McTavish, South Carroll, Emma Penczek, Manchester Valley, Drew Watkins, Francis Scott Key.

Forwards: Carmaya Bowman, Manchester Valley, Jenna Liska, Liberty.

Second Team

Guards: Emily Conklin, Westminster, Harli Hamlett, Century, Reese Kresslein, Manchester Valley, Abby Rieger, Francis Scott Key, Autumn Stottlemire, Manchester Valley.
